We use turmeric as a spice in many dishes, but I had never thought of adding it to milk to drink. I am wondering what it would taste like. I had not idea about the benefits of using tumeric. The one that interests me the most is helping with joint pain. If it has anti inflamatory properties I plan to look into it. I also did not know that it could calm me for sleep. I don’t fall into any of the categories you mentioned that should use tumeric so I think I will give it a try. I am wondering if adding a bit of vanilla as well as sugar might help the taste. Turmeric is such an amazing spice with so many health benefits. I started taking a turmeric supplement during the pandemic to boost my immunity, but also to use it as an anti inflammatory for sore joints in my fingers. And it is fantastic how joint pain disappeared.
Although I sometimes boil up ginger and turmeric together to have as a hot drink, I had not thought of preparing it with milk. I will certainly try your recipe as I know I will benfit from a turmeric milk infusion.

I have heard of Tumeric Milk and all its benefits but thought it was something one had to buy. I had no idea you could make it at home so easily. I also didn’t know that it had to be taken warm for one to get the full benefits of the Tumeric.
I drink cinnamon milk made in much the same way in winter, as that is what our Mother used to give us. I would imagine that Turmeric milk must taste just as good and I am definitely going to give it a try. All I do with Turmeric at the moment is add it to my rice.
